Loberto Bug-os, or Dodon, is one of the older guys we played with while I was growing up. Dodon was so fond of playing Army man and trains us to be in the military every time he gets a chance to do so. Jogging, jumping hurdles and basic orienteering is just some of the fun we had with him. He grew up to be a soldier of the Philippine Army and is now serving in one of the war torn areas of Mindanao. Dodon loves to Watch G.I. Joe and so did we. I think that’s why he wanted to be a soldier. As for me, I grew up to be an obese, sedentary call center agent, with strolling the malls as a secondary form of exercise and crunching keyboards as the primary.

I just found out that there is an upcoming G.I. Joe movie set for release on the summer of 2009. It’s called “G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra“. Based on the G.I. Joe wallpapers, the graphics of this upcoming film is superb and the costume even looks like one of those G.I. Joe soldiers from the box.

G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra is set ten years in the future, making it a story about the group’s origin as well as the rise of there nemisis, Cobra Organization.
