All you need to have is a hammer (could be rusty or new), a ruler (not the bending kind) and a string and a platform to mount your hammer ruler balance setup.

I was able to get a video of this trick on Youtube earlier so I could be spared of having to act as technical writer for this hammer ruler balance trick.

Don’t be too depressed if it does not work the first time you set it up and, if your could, set your patience level to a couple of notch up. This trick is also best done outdoors as it may ruin your tiled floor. Just be sure it’s not windy.
