A rigged Voting Machine video on Youtube is taking the world by storm!

Youtube user, centralpavote, posted the above video above today, November 6, 2012, to show an anomalous Voting Machine. Tried as he did, every time he pushed the button for Barack Obama , the machine would register a vote for Mick Romney.

According to centralpavote, he and his wife went to the polling place early morning before work and was accommodated by four ladies  manning the precinct.

“I initially selected Obama but Romney was highlighted. I assumed it was being picky so I deselected Romney and tried Obama again, this time more carefully, and still got Romney”, he said.

Being a software developer himself, he tried to select the Jill Stien, the button bellow the one for Obama, assuming it was only a problem with calibration but it worked just fine. He then started tapping the the screen to find the active areas to select Obama but was not successful. “From the top of Romney’s button down to the bottom of the black checkbox beside Obama’s name was all active for Romney. From the bottom of that same checkbox to the bottom of the Obama button (basically a small white sliver) is what let me choose Obama. Stein’s button was fine. All other buttons worked fine,” he said.

He then called a volunteer who “hemmed[sic] hawed for a bit then calmly said ‘It’s nothing to worry about, everything will be OK’”. After the volunteer went back to his task, he then decided to take this video.

Some Youtube users believe that it is a doctored video but the centralpavote himself claimed that he is “not a video guy” and is willing to provide the raw file for anyone who likes to check its authenticity.

Grimsvotn, one of the most active Iceland volcano started erupting again according to scientists in Reykjavik, Iceland. Unlike what happened over a year ago, this eruption, according to experts, it is highly unlikely that this would desrupt European air traffic for several days.

The eruption was accompanied by micro earthquakes and smoke could be seen rising from the volcano which lies under the uninhabited Vatnajokull glacier in southeast Iceland.

As standard procedure, Isavia, the company responsible for operation and development of all airport facilities and air navigation service in Iceland, designated a no fly zone has been designated 220 kilometers in all direction from the eruption

“The plume of smoke has reached jet flying altitude and plans have been made for planes flying through Icelandic air control space to fly southwardly tonight,” said Hjordis Gudmundsdottir, the spokeswoman for Isavia.

Expecting Iceland Volcano Eruption

Scientists were already expecting Grimsvotn to erupt this year after melted glacial ice began pouring from it last November 2010 and they already know that it’s just manageable as compared to the April 2010 Eyhafjallajokull volcanic eruption.  Grimsvotn last erupted in 2004.

Experts from the University of Iceland are now flying over the volcano to check the situation.

Eyewitnesses claim the plume rose quickly thousands of meters into the air.

A year ago, the eruption of Eyjafjallajokul left about 10 million air travelers stranded in airports worldwide after volcanic ash clouds were spread in some of the world’s busiest airspace by the wind. It took 5 days for air travel to resume operations.

The Iceland volcano Grimsvotn erupted in 1998, 1996 and 1993. The eruptions have lasted between a day and several weeks.
