Dancing with the Stars Season 9–The ninth season of Dancing with the Stars will start airing on ABS and WSB-TV in Atlanta on September 21 at 8 in the evening. A three-night premier event is set to open this season and just recently, the new Dancing with the Stars 2009 lineup was announced.

Here’s the new Dancing with the Stars Season 9 lineup:

• Tom DeLay, retired Republican Congressional leader who was indicted in 2006 for money laundering after a Texas grand jury.
• Aaron Carter, singer, songwriter, producer, actor who was once a teen heartthrob. He shares genes with Backstreetboys’ Nick Carter.
• Ashley Hamilton, the son of Hollywood’s George Hamilton and a former husband of Shannen Dogherty.
• Natalie Coughlin, Olympic gold medal-winning swimmer. She is the most decorated female swimmer in World Championship history, with 16 medals.
• Mya, Grammy-award winning singer, actress and choreographer.
• Michael Irvin, former Dallas Cowboy an broadcaster for ESPN’s NFL Countdown. He was selected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2007.
• Melissa Joan Hart, an actress best known for her TV portrayals as Sabrina the Teenage Witch.
• Mark Dacascos, a martial artist and “The Chairman” of TV’s Iron Chef.
• Macy Gray, R&B and soul singer-songwriter who won the Grammy.
• Louie Vito, a professional snowboarder favored to make the 2010 US Olympic team.
• Kelly Osbourne, daughter of Ozzy and famous for her reality show.
• Kathy Ireland, a clothing designer who once walked the runway as supermodel.
• Joanna Krupa, model, most recently she was seen on ABC’s The Superstars.
• Donny Osmond, he’s a little country… Donny won the hearts of millions as part of the Osmonds.
• Debi Mazar, an American actress known for her classic look. She currently appears in TV’s Entourage.
• Chuck Lidell, Ultimate Fighting Championship legend.

Unluckily, Paula Abdul was not part of the list.

This year’s judges will still be Bruno Tonioli, Carrie Ann Inaba and Len Goodman, and Samantha Harris and Tom Bergeron will be hosting the show.
