I pride myself for being tech savvy. To be honest, I’m just a notch above the average person and not really the geek that could open-line a Globe Tattoo USB modem but just an average guy who can get a lot things done by the aid of computers and some spending some time trying to reverse engineer a particular process.
When I created this blog and some of the other sites in my portfolio, the first thing I do is spend like two days conceptualizing the design, creating logos and repeating the process to give it an outstanding finish. It’s fine when you have a few sites to maintain but it’s really a chore when you have more. I always wish I could let someone else do the job for me but since I have limited resources, I am forced to do it myself.
A lot of other bloggers who focus more on expanding their content (actual blog posts) and don’t have the skills to create their own blog logos or ads simply start advertisement design contests and awards the prize to the design that he likes and I thought about doing the same thing too on my next big blog (which I don’t have time yet to deploy).
This is what they call crowdsourcing, it’s a process of letting everyone interested pitch their concepts to help you choose the best one, and this is what Prova.fm is good at. Prova is a site where people who need advertising designs made and people who could provide one.
If you are an artist with a lot of spare time, you can visit Prova.com or, if you like free postcards , you can also visit their site too.
