The US TV Series which debuted this season will soon hit Asian shores via the AXN Beyond.

Teen Wolf is  based on a 1985 film, with the same title, starring Michael J. Fox. However, the producers put a nice spin to the original story, made it hip, sexy and more appealing to this generation’s taste for romance, mystery as well as action.

I haven’t seen any of episode of this series yet but I heard the only thing similar to the Fox starrer and the TV version is the character of a boy turning into a werewolf.

I don’t intend to watch this show just yet cause I still have True Blood and Vampire Diaries waiting in line and adding another weird series on my list would mess with my TV palate’s balance.

The TV series’ premiere episode will be aired on July 17, Sunday, at 9 p.m. and it will be simultaneously broadcast on AXN and Animax.

Subsequent episodes will be broadcast every Monday at 9 p.m. on AXN Beyond.
