Pinay Scandal, A Rite of Passage

Pinay scandal, pinay scandal video, pinay scandal free download, filipina girl, free filipina, pinay scandal youtube, iyottube pinay scandal, iyotube, filipina cams, free filipina girls, and other keywords that has something to do with Filipina or Pinays having softcore to hardcore sex online, in videos, pictures or even through audio files may have topped the Guinness Book of World Records when it comes to Internet search terms that has something to do with the Philippines.

The feminist and the die-hard religious among us may consider this phenomenon alarming just as much as a kababayan of mine did when he knew about the Maasin City Scandal on Sel’s blog and here on BendzG but to those who have been in the field of blogging and search engine optimization, we just consider it a way of exploiting the zeitgeist and converting it to website traffic. Many a blogger, specially Pinoys, may have a post or two about pinay celebrity scandals, some just narrating the scenes and expressing their opinions, while others going all the way and posting download links which is a no-no when you’re monetizing your site through AdSense and other legitimate online ad brokers.

Keyword exploitation is the name of the game and the more popular the keyword, the more bloggers writing posts peppered with the search term on it. At some point of my blogging career (that’s the fancy name for what I do on my spare time), I consider bloggers who post around the keyword, pinay scandal and nude pinay celebrities, pathetic and unprofessional; those who post about pinay kids scandal and sexually exploited Filipinas, even fall under the perversely twisted and vile. Although, like other bloggers, I too wanted to make it on the list of The Top 100 Blogs in the Philippines, I still have my professionalism and pride to uphold and I also believe in the adage: “The ends does not justify the means”.

With this post and with some others that precedes this, it is quite clear that my stand on the matter Pinay scandal posting shifted towards the affirmative. The change of heart does not come from desperation, in fact, my traffic and earnings has doubled in the past couple of months. It is not even motivated by a change in believe system which I am currently toiling on. Having had the time to be off blogging and the Internet, in general, for a couple of months and back has brought me insights and a new perspective of the things.

Pinay scandal blogging, as it turns out, is a Pinoy blogger’s rite of passage. I am yet to know of a Pinoy blogger who conquered the top of the local blogging scene without a scandal post in one of his blog. Traffic from these inappropriate blogging topics may have been one of the forces that sparked the fire that fuels us to hang on and continue blogging even during those tough times when there are no available opportunities for sponsored postings or when you only get a cent per day out of AdSense.

On highly popular blogs, this post may have been deleted by the time it gains massive audience and stable RSS readership but the fact is, most of us, Pinoy bloggers, even those whose topic revolves on parenting, wrote a post bordering on kinky once in our blogging life.

Even the great Bloggista has one.
