Who won the Vice Presidential Debate?

After the much anticipated vice presidential debate between America’s Democrat, Biden and Republican’s Palin, a lot of people have resorted to search engine sites to know who won the vice presidential debate. Even non-Americans wants to know who is the debate winner as well as manifested by search trends sites like Google Trends.

According to CNN Biden won but Palin exceeded expectations. Well, given Biden’s experience in national and even international politics, there is no doubt that he would win when it comes to sounding confident and smart about the issues at hand.

However, based on the voting trends of the electoral college in the 2 recent elections, the odds are still in favor of the republicans even though democrats are gaining popular support because of Obama’s color. Nobody wants to be called racist after all.

My hat is still tossed for Mrs. Palin and I hope America feels the same way about her too. She may not win any vice presidential debate but she certainly paved the way for future woman vice presidential aspirants not just in America but in other countries as well.
