Millions of Sex and the City fans searching for the book, Love Letters of Great Men, Carrie Bradshaw read to Mr. Big in the movie came was surprised to learn that the book didn’t even exist.

The book could have been a best seller had someone published it before the movie’s release. The closest title to the book is Love Letters From Great Men and Women: From the Eighteenth Centure to the Present Day. It was published in 1920 and only recently re-issued piggy backing on the fame of an existent piece of literature.

This is just shows how influential Carrie Bradshaw is.

  1. It is a strange society… People are buying things because they saw it in the movie and not because they chose it by their own will…
    It almost seem to me, that people can be very easily controlled and that is dangerous. Big corporation can easily make moviemakers make movies in which would be a hidden commercial for their products. People should start thinking by theirselfs and not do what the TV or cinema tell them to do.

  2. I totally agree. It seems like it won’t be long till this world will totally succumb to the exploit of commercialism. The best thing we could do about it is learning how to spot these ads in movies.
