A New Home in a Big City

Two days before my first day, I found myself with my mom and Ariel, an old friend and colleague when we were still working for the Sangguniang Kabataan, in the middle of Barangay Apas, Cebu City, looking for a room or a house to stay. Luckily, we ended up with one that has a private comfort room, a kitchen, a bed and a lot of space for a (sort of) living room.

It’s just a two-minute walk away from work so the hundred dollars rent per month is okey. I could have opted for a cheaper one somewhere in the residential areas but decided otherwise considering my fat ass and my hyperactive sweat glands. I hate traffic too.

I could not post pictures as of the moment cause this PC don’t have a USB port. Hehehe.

Sans the noise from foot traffic, mosquito bites, and the cat who keeps inspecting my trash every time I’m away, I say it’s a haven!
