Frustrated. One word that describes what I feel like after seeing no Google Love after the recent PageRank Update of April 2008. It’s due to the fact that I spent months making sure I please Google and anticipating a PageRank of 3 after using a PageRank prediction tool. It would have taken me a week to get over the feeling if not for a dose of Avril Lavigne.
Avril is so popular here, to school girls and even to guys who like to classify themselves as PUNKs and SKATERs. Had they been in high school during my time, I bet they would not admit to listening to songs sung by girls and googling Avril Lavigne Lyrics. that would most likely cost them a loss in "pogi points". Girls will brand them as "homos" and the guys would definitely ban them from joining their study groups.
A friend of my sister who plays for a local rock band asked me two weeks ago to look for Avril Lavigne Guitar Tabs cause he wanted to persuade his all-boys band to play "Girlfriend" during a local compitition. I thought the idea was totally absurd! Imagine 5 guys who dress like KISS, with the make-up and all, singing "Hey, Hey, Hey, Hey, You, You, I wanna be your girlfriend…". I never thought the judges or the crowd will love it but the results proved me wrong. They bagged the championship trophy in the end. Kids these days are more twisted than we thought we were.
As for me, I spent the last three days not visiting my PageRank-less site and gave a shot on learning a new instrument apart from what is attached below my belt. I tried my hands on the bass guitar and it took my mind off this site and my frustration. I’m still not halfway into totally playing it with confidence and still have some second thoughts on letting my buddies know that the first song I can play on a bass guitar is Avril Lavigne’s "HOT". I got it while searching for Avril Lavigne Bass Tabs in Google. It’s not that I’m a huge fan or something.

I’ve been playing the bass since 1993 but I’m super busy with work to have enough time to play lately.

We drink Tanduay on our study group sessions, by the way heheh.
I’m starting to get hooked with the bass and planning to get one for myself but I think this one’s just gonna be like all other “hobbies” I got into. I get hooked on the first month then the level of enthusiasm dies down after that.
