Bayantel DSL, my internet service provider cut me of about 2 hours ago. It’s not the first time this happens to me and I don’t have any right to complain cause it’s my fault. I forgot failed to pay my bill again and the 2 months grace period has lapsed already. I’ve been busy job hunting for the past 2 weeks and it would take about a weeks from now to replete my resources.
Bayantel has been a good internet service provider. They bill me ontime and it only takes 24 hours or less to get any problems fixed. For the one full year with them, I only got to call customer support for 5 times, 4 of wich is to have my external modem replaced since it burned out due to my 24/7 using it 24/7 to play Tantra Online, an MMORPG I got hooked on. The other one was just to have my IP reset.
Bayantel sucks sometimes and when it does, it gets too frustrating. Talk about high latency. You can’t play online 3D games when it’s lagging. It’s still is much better than Globe Broadband and Smart Bro, though.
Bayantel, being a major player in the Philippine Communications/IT industry provides voice and data services such as wireless landline (CDMA), Dial-up internet access, VOiP and regular NDD and IDD.
I don’t know when I’m gonna have my home connection back. I could even decide to have it totally disconnected instead cause I will be moving sometime sooner. For now, I’m back to internet cafes and I’m socializing again. Heheh. Perhaps, this isn’t a bad thing afterall.
