Who Moved My Cheese?

Who Moved My Cheese?

I bought the book yesterday and finished it in just one sitting. Its a nice book, IMO, and it managed to made me feel more courageous amids an impending 360 degree life turn.

I think I’m more like Haw cause I used to be afraid of changing and looking for new cheese until I found myself more and more miserable each day of blaming others for the lost cheese and managed to laugh at how foolish I was to hold on to it.

I’m getting closer to my new cheese now and this time, I’ll be wiser than I was before. I’m gonna keep my running shoes hanging on my neck just in case I have to use it again and keep finding new cheese even though my current cheese station still suffices my needs. heheh

How about you? How did the story affect you?

  3. Ah yeah, who moved my cheese. I read the book and watched the video that’s available. Both supplied at work to prep us for impending changes in the mental health industry.

I’d like to think I blaze the trail in times of change, but usually take a wait and see approach.

  4. It is my personal opinion that book “Who Moved My Cheese?” reads like Akira (a four hour anime about the search for the Akira project). The book is well written and the characters decently developed, but it is too long. The message of the book is that you must be conscious and observant of your surroundings, make minor changes to help you prepare for a major one, and expect and accept change in all expects of your life.

On average a book this size takes an individual two hours to read, provided they are not interrupted. It took me approximately three days. My lost of interest in this book came about so easily that any mild distraction was a valid excuse to discard the book for the remainder of the day. If my training leader had not requested a summary of the manuscript I would not have continued past page ten.
