Judging from the title, you might think this is another one of my posts about Entrecard fast dropping. I stopped making one since Graham send me a note and even dropped my Fast Entrecard Dropping list. I’m also planning to delete Entrecard from my categories. This post is about my weight (period).
Normally, Asians or Pacific Islanders, whichever you like Filipinos to fall under, are built lean and muscular so a guy as big as myself is highly noticeable. I’ve been obese, since the beginning of my existence, and I already gave up dieting, exercise and pills cause they don’t seem to work. And now, I’m above 300 pounds. I don’t really know the exact digits having decided not to stand on a weighing scale again cause I already busted a few.
I’ve tried South Beach Diet, having a gym membership, took a lot of pills, and enrolled on a program for loosing weight but I was just too stubborn to make it part of my lifestyle and simply. I was just lazy, and years of laziness turns into inches after inches of fat.

For many years, I fooled myself into thinking that it’s okey to be fat and even tell people that my weight is not an issue for me. After reading Saphrym Blog, I paused for a while and pondered… If a 355 pounder could do it, why can’t I?
I started by reading finess blogs like Pat King’s to lead me on this journey to weight loss. I started dieting already and want to jog once I got to buy a new pair of rubber shoes. The idea of liposuction also crossed my mind.
Lipsuction is safe now that the Department of Health is strict on implementing its guidelines on cosmetic surgery and you could always trust Vicky Belo or Pie Calayan. It’s one of the fastest way to drop pounds, so they say, but you can gain it back if you’re not careful.
I still can’t afford it. Perhaps, a year of blogging would make me more money to get it done.

Well, if that’s really your pic, you’re a handsome young guy and that makes being heavy a lot easier because some people don’t mind the extra weight - some grew up in families with heavy parents, etc, and find it, ironically, comforting and familiar.
The key is going to be some kind of a community assistance where you have a “buddy” or two who keep you on track when you’re straying and you do the same for them when they stray but the one very biggest helpful thing you can do - especially at your age - is to simply just walk for 1hr every day… or, at least 5 days per week.
No joke, you not only will burn off quite a bit of what you eat but, ironically, you won’t be as hungry…
The problem for most is that they seek perfection right out of the gate rather than realizing that they’re in a real kind of war (with their habits). So they figure they’ll just fail (”again”) and so don’t even bother.
But I’m telling you… just drag your ass out of bed each morning, have 2 cups of water and go walk for an hour and you’ll understand what can only be understood by doing…
If you’ve already done something like this… then just do it again… you don’t get stronger by quitting, you get stronger through repetition which means falling down and getting up again.
Now go to it!
