Pleasing Google: How to Make a Privacy Policy Statement
I got my AdSense Pin today hot from the mail. I almost thought Google forgot to send it after waiting for more than a month.
I got $10 last January and, as of the moment, I have $30 on my account. At the rate I’m going, I guess it would take 4 more months before I reach a hundred. Thank god there are other ways to monetize a blog!
As I logged in, I was surprised to have the Term of Service Page on my face and I immediately thought I got banned only to know that they are making some changes to it. It’s not really much except for the new provision requiring AdSense publishers to post a Privacy Policy Statement on their respective sites informing users that their tracks are recorded through cookies.

It’s the Direct Marketing Association’s Privacy Policy Statement Generator. You just need to type a few words, click a few boxes, and you are good to go. Just be sure to check the right ones.

Thanks for the heads up on this. Although I have been blogging for a while, I’m just getting started with the AdSense stuff. I did not know that they were mandating privacy policies now. It looks like I will need to take care of this before I actually install the AdSense code on my site.
